Position: Career Development Officer

Location: Logan

Pay Rate: $48hr + super

Employment Type: Contract position, mon- fri, 38 hrs a week until Aug 2025 with possibility of extension

Maxima Recruitment Services is currently seeking various highly motivated individuals as a Career Development Officer for one of our government clients.

The Career Development Officer facilitates pre-graduate and graduate placement opportunities within organisation, partnering with universities and internal stakeholders to ensure positive experiences for candidates and hosting branches.

Responsibilities and Duties
 

• Develop and deliver career development pathways, connecting students and graduates with Council opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, RTOs, and internal stakeholders.
• Administer HR systems for talent and pre-employment programs.
• Monitor and review program effectiveness, ensuring alignment with organisation's vision.
• Develop training materials and support resources for candidates.
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills
 

• Tertiary qualifications or significant experience in graduate pathway programs.
• Strong knowledge of Higher Education system and placement practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current "C" class driver's license
